Tarpey Insurance Group, Inc. is a family owned and operated independent Insurance Agency. The main office is located in Wakefield with branch offices in Newton, Danvers and Saugus. Tarpey Insurance Group, Inc. has been under the ownership of James J. Tarpey for the past twenty years. Jim began his insurance career almost 50 years ago as an underwriter for Royal Insurance. He came to the agency in 1968 and has been the CEO since 1978. All five of Jim's children, Michael, Elizabeth, James B., Mark and Stephen have since joined the agency.

Elizabeth is President of the agency. She has completed the Accredited Advisor of Insurance Program and is also a Licensed Property and Casualty Advisor. She has attained the CPCU and CIC designations.

James B. is Vice President of Financial Services and is Manager of the Danvers office. He has earned the designation of the Certified Insurance Counselor's program, CIC.

Mark is Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He is a Licensed Advisor and has completed the Accredited Advisor of Insurance Program. He has attained the CPCU and CIC designations.

Michael, Vice President of Personal Lines, is the Manager of the Newton office. He is currently enrolled in the CPCU program and is a licensed advisor.

Stephen is Vice President of Commercial Lines department in the Wakefield office. He has attained the CPCU and CIC designations.

The remainder of the staff has many years of experience placing and servicing a wide range of products. All staff members regularly attend classes and seminars to stay abreast of changes in the industry.
